Fantastic news Google has finally announced that the conversation threading in Gmail is on the way out...
This is really great news and will on;y result in a larger uptake of people that are more confident in using Gmail |
Google Inc had stated it wouldn't change from the threaded "conversation" style display of the messages in Gmail but have now changed their mind with a new person in charge of Gmail.
That conversations style was a real pain - if you used a phrase to title your email to several different people Gmail would often just thread them together - even if the emails were several months apart - very annoying.
It was also difficult to see all messages from a single person without using the search function - just as well search is really fast...!
