SEO – focus on the end result…

We often get asked to look at web sites that have recently been launched – or web sites that are several years old – but are not ranked well in search engines.
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is the art of getting a web site's pages into search engine results.

This can “just happen” but many web designers do not have the up to date knowledge required to make the web site easy for search engine to come and index the pages and rank the web site well for the various search phrases.

You have probably also been at the receiving end of some great sounding offers but resist the urge to click on them – many have their own income as their best interests – not your online ranking.

Here's an example of how not to do it: -

And the main story: -

This shows the power of offsite links – and also the very real need for you to be aware of what Google wants to see on your web site.

Don't get suckered into paying for these kind of SEO services – the results can be much more harmful then beneficial...
